Is there a coach or bus running to Chamrousse on Saturday evenings and how do I book this?
Answer:
I can’t find a transfer direct from the Grenoble Airport to Chamrousse. What looks to be the official Chamrousse website (in French) talks about a regular bus from Grenoble to Chamrousse, line 6010. If I’m reading the schedule right the last Saturday bus leaves the Grenoble train station at 2.10 pm. There is one a 5.45 pm but it’s only during the week.
There is a bus that runs between the airport and Grenoble train station. It runs every hour on the hour until 10.45 pm. The cost is 4€. From there you could take a taxi to Chamrousse. By my estimation the cost would be about 50€.
