Passenger Reviews

I think the developments are coming along nicely and I find access to and from the Alps really simple from Grenoble. All the staff seem particularly friendly and helpful, especially the ladies in the car-hire offices.
However. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Last Saturday afternoon was a very busy time for the Airport and it began to 'burst at the seams'!
(i) The toilet facilities in the departure lounge are totally inadequate for men (and women alike)! Two cubicles for men - with no urinals as such - and there were at least 800 - 1000 people waiting around! I can't speak for the women's facilities but I know there were huge queues!
The cleaning staff did their best, but paper was running out. Towels were running out. Even nastier stuff was (literally!) running out as the men's toilets were flooding!
(ii) The P.A. system is very poor. When the departure lounges are so busy the announcements could not be heard at all clearly, particularly the announcements in what were foreign languages for the announcers. I think the speakers need upgrading and the staff needs a bit more training in the correct use of microphones.
(iii) My return flight was about three hours late. I know this is not the fault of the Airport, but passengers were given almost NO information about the delay: merely an occasional apology and a promise that the aircraft was 'on its way'. This may be because the local staff really didn't know the cause or the likely duration of the delay, but I think things could have been done a bit better.
I shall continue to use Grenoble because I like it a lot, and I know it was VERY busy on Saturday, but I think someone should address the above mentioned points before the Airport gets a bad reputation.
